Earlier this week, Glenn explained the story behind a painting he's done of the 1938 moment when American boxer Joe Louis lost to an opponent he severely underestimated: Germany’s Max Schmeling. The story represents redemption, getting back on your feet, and determination, Glenn said. But — perhaps unsurprisingly — one MSNBC host (cough Chris Hayes cough) decided to take the painting out of COMPLETE context and allude to an INSANE accusation on Twitter. Sigh.
